Welcome to The Inspired Women Podcast. In today’s episode your host Megan Hall interviews Heidi Herman.
Heidi Herman is an author and public speaker passionate about living life to the fullest. She’s equally passionate about white water rafting, learning how to pilot small aircraft, writing, traveling and even learning how to make jams and jellies from fruit grown on her farm in South Dakota. She retired from a 70-hour a week job as a consultant when she was fifty, focusing on being an author and life adventurer. She credits her vitality to her Icelandic mother and Scandinavian philosophies. From May 2018 to May 2019, she helped her 93-year old mother, Ieda, prove you’re “never too old” when they undertook the challenge for Ieda to have 93 new experiences before turning 94.
