Bethany is an Executive Director for a non-profit academic organization. She has a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a master’s degree in school counseling. She is an advocate for local businesses, a self-identified coffee snob, a cooking enthusiast, and enjoys positively challenging her mind and body. She is a lover of health and fitness and primarily identifies as a marathon runner but is currently training for her first 70.3 (half Ironman). Some background noise in her life includes struggling with body-image issues since the age of eight and overcoming anorexia nervosa and bulimia. She has been in recovery for 12+ years.
