Jacqueline “Jackie” Glass is a Chicagoland native with 11 years of naval service. She recently ran for public office, and launched a podcast, Your Neighbor’s Hood, for uncomfortable culture conversations (specifically about race). Jackie encourages women to “go hard for their success” through her Ladywood Movement. She frequently speaks on parental leadership, triumph after trauma and self-care. Currently, Jackie is an ambassador for the United State of Women, an organization committed to tackling gender equality. She lives by her motto, “Village is a verb.” Jackie, her amazingly patient husband and two little citizens call Norfolk, VA their home.
